The entire piece has to be printed large enough that the figures are imposing, not like slender dolls. I'm testing on two sheets each 29 x 42 inches, and if it looks right I'll order a roll of 44" wide paper to print them on. It ain't cheap!
He sculpted them in plaster in 1909, they're in Buenos Aires; the marble version is in Italy, made in 1910. The brunette was indeed his wife, the redhead appears in other of his works, a favorite model.
