40 x 60"His wife on the far right, Bistolfi in 1909 here used several of his favorite models to create the plaster group of women which I photographed in Buenos Aires in 2017. Dryads were forest spirits, the salamandress a being said to inhabit flame. The redhead right of center was a favorite model of several Milanese sculptors of the early 20th century.
