18 x 27" The mosaic background, necklace and ewer are all from Pompeii. Had to go get the images to properly situate Amalia de Brondello, who was sculpted in 1886 (showing her as she had been at 25 in 1862), in Turin. She was vain, often disagreeable; her heirs fought bitterly over her estate.
