Fui quod es, Eris quod sum: I was what you are, you will be what I am. 18 x 27 inches (46 x 69 cm) 19 June 2018 Orengo's (one of the most erotic of early 20th century Italian sculptors)marble statues are on the Chiarella tomb in Staglieno cemetery, Genoa. They're on separate corners, the elder regarding the younger. The gloomy surrounding is from Charleston, SC. I started with the figure on the right, intending a jolly piece for spring. Oh dear.
