6 x 9" At 35, Maria Vender was apprehensive, passionate, of good Milanese family; the flu epidemic took her. Camillo Broggi sculpted her in bronze, life size, that year; now rather stained and patinated, that bronze was my model. As ever, printing on real paper makes her a little softer, as well as larger than you're seeing here. The background colors are a refraction of stained glass on the floor of a 15th century monastery in Portugal.
