This archival print is a portrait size, 18" wide x 12" tall, and is printed on fine French buffered rag paper.
At 30 in 1870, her sixty years older husband had died; here, she lifts the cover to be certain. The life size marble of her which I photographed is in Genoa. You don't see this view normally, I had to use a boom for the camera. It had been convenient, she'd care for him in his final years, he would set her up financially; but she fell in love with the elderly gentleman.
